Sutures Bar Tulsa Information

Tucked into a busy stretch of 7133 S Yale Ave in Tulsa, Sutures Bar Tulsa has a personality that feels equal parts neighborhood hangout and late-night comfort spot. Walking in, there’s an immediate sense that this place leans more toward atmosphere and energy than polished dining, but that’s exactly where its charm lives. The dim lighting, casual seating, and steady buzz of conversation give it a lived-in feel that regulars clearly appreciate.

The menu isn’t overly complicated, which works in its favor. It sticks to bar-style favorites-think loaded fries, burgers, wings, and a few rotating specials that keep things interesting. The burger I tried was juicy without being greasy, paired with crispy fries that didn’t feel like an afterthought. It’s the kind of food you order when you’re more focused on hanging out than dissecting flavors, yet it still hits the mark. Drinks play a big role here too, with a solid lineup of beers and cocktails that fit the vibe without trying too hard to impress.

Service can be a bit of a mixed bag depending on how busy the night gets, which is pretty typical for a place that doubles as a bar and social hub. On a quieter evening, staff tend to be friendly and attentive, offering quick recommendations and checking in just enough. During peak hours, things can slow down, but the laid-back atmosphere makes it easier to roll with it rather than feel frustrated.

Location-wise, it’s convenient if you’re in the Tulsa area, especially for locals looking for a go-to spot that doesn’t require planning ahead. Parking is manageable, and the area itself feels safe and accessible, which adds to its appeal as an easy choice for a spontaneous night out.

What stands out most in reviews from regulars is consistency in the overall experience rather than any single standout dish. People come back because it feels familiar, social, and unpretentious. It’s not trying to be a fine dining destination, and that honesty works in its favor. While it may not satisfy someone looking for a refined culinary experience, it delivers exactly what you’d expect from a casual bar setting: decent food, good drinks, and an atmosphere that encourages you to stay a little longer than planned.

What People's Say About Place

Haven't try their food just yet due to I came in late hopefully I get to come on early enough to do so. If anything like their service hospitality I'll be banking their food is just as great. Drinks was reasonably priced jukebox to pick your own music if listed I went sorta late however everything was fantastic I will be coming back in the near future felt like at home drinking. Worth checking out when you have a free moment. Vaping or cigarettes are allowed

Great place! All the staff working are always so nice! On Wednesday go get you some wings! If you like yours a little crunchy ask to have them double cooked. They have food specials every day.

Really great local bar! We didn't try the food so I can't comment on that. The atmosphere is a suburban version of a dive bar. Very clean, but maybe lacking a touch of tradition. The highlander martini may be on my to 10 cocktails of all time, beating out most margaritas. We'll likely be back. The cost, convenience, and quality is too good to pass up. Also, wait staff were kind and prompt.

Started coming here a week or two ago and gotta say this place is great. From the bartenders to the food to the drinks, I'd have to say it's the best bar I've been to. I don't drink much but they make the best drinks imo. It's a place I can come just chill and relax and play some good tunes if I want to. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill spot! Update: still a good spot for drinks, sports and food. The bartenders are good about checking up on you!

Not my typical; smoke filled, pretty packed. However one of the best chicken fried steaks I've ever had. I didn't love the style of the potatoes, but the flavor was there. Fried chicken was tender but crispy, gravy well seasoned, potatoes were garlicky in a good way. Smokey was an attentive server and kept our drinks filled. Overall, I may return just for the food. It was that good.

I give it a 4 because the ladies that were bartending were friendly and professional. I only had a beer and left but left with an impression that they take pride in their bar. Cheers

friendly staff, adorable prices, free poker night , karaoke and more

April was an amazing bartender. She was quick to serve me. Very polite , very nice , she kept my drink and tab honest. Highly recommend her on Fridays . I’ll be coming back!:)
